To maximize your opportunities as a player, start the process early, be consistent with your communication, and get in front of as many coaches as possible. The CSP-App gives you the power to do all the above right from the palm of your hand.
How can clubs benefit from the CSP-App? The CSP-App is a powerful tool for Club Directors and recruitment professionals, designed to assist them in guiding players through the recruitment process. Managing individual recruitment for each player in a club can be challenging, but the CSP-App equips every player with the information and resources they need to take ownership of their recruitment journey.
What is the best way to use the University Section of the CSP-App? The CSP-App places the power of college recruitment directly into the hands of players and their families. If you are just starting the recruitment process, begin by completing the questionnaire emailed to you upon registration to narrow down schools that fit your preferences. For those already in the process, the app allows you to search and filter universities by characteristics that align with your goals, helping you expand your college options.
How often is the information updated? We strive to keep our information as accurate as possible, with updates occurring twice a month during the Fall Soccer Season to reflect the most recent records. Additionally, the entire database is updated at least four times a year. And we will constantly be updating as smaller bits of information is altered over the course of any given year. PLEASE ALWAYS VERIFY THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION BY CHECKING THE UNIVERSITY OR ACADEMIC WEBSITE DIRECTLY.
Do you offer recruitment consulting services? We collaborate with a network of recruitment specialists who provide our app to all their players. If you would like to connect with one of these specialists, please send your details (name, grade, club, league, contact information, etc.) to info@cspathway.com, and we will forward your information to our partners.
What is the best way to use the ID Camp portion of the CSP-App? This will be one of the most powerful tools to help with the recruitment process. Using the ID Camp map, you can find camps in your area, filtered by division, date, price, age group, and more. This feature enables you to connect with coaches and universities you're interested in. Additionally, some universities host ID camps that are do not publicly advertise all details. While these may not appear on the ID Camp map, you can find direct links to these university-specific camps on each university's details page..
What info can separate my from players not using the app? Beyond detailed team and academic information, one of the most valuable aspects is the ability to see the number of players in each class and position. This data is crucial when making decisions about attending a school, as it can significantly influence your potential playing time and overall team experience.
Are there actually camps that run 1, 2, or 3 months long? Usually NO. If camps have what appears to be a long date range than expected, that simply means that camp dates have not been announced yet, but they are in the future. We will update these as they are announced but also check the camp link for updates.
What does Small, Medium, Large and XL mean for school sizes? Small = Less than 2500 Medium = More than 2500, Less than 5000 Large = More than 5000 less than 15000 X Large = More than 15000
